I've saved Inkscape to my computer multiple times, but after a while it deletes itself.

First, it says "Inkscape cannot run" then the problem is troubleshooted. After that, it closes Inkscape, and every time I try to enter it again, a message pops up saying that the shortcut is invalid and requests to delete it.

I've uploaded Inkscape three times, and each time it deletes itself. Is it a problem with Inkscape or is it a problem with my computer? Please help!

Uummmm....is this on Windows 7? Otherwise what do you mean by

The only thing I can think of would be some security issue on your computer, which is corrupting your program or download. Speaking of download, you are downloading from a reputable source, right? And you're getting the proper release/version for your operating system? What kind of security do you have, and have you had any known issues recently?

What Operating System (OS) and Version are you running? (i.e., Windows Vista, Service Pack 1)

What version of Inkscape are you trying to install?
