Just loaded Inkscape (0.46) on an OLD Gateway/Motion M1200 tablet PC. (256 Meg of memory.) The program loads OK but when I do anything, like opening the Layers menu or select a dropdown menu, it will not display correctly until I shrink and then expand the window - or minimize and maximize the window.

I probably won't have the knowledge to help, but someone who might would probably like to know what OS you are using and if you could provide a screenshot so we can see what the issue looks like.

My apologies - apparently this is a driver issue. After two VERY frustrating evenings with my tablet PC and Inkscape - everything is working fine tonight. What was so strange was that The Gimp was working great - only Inkscape was having issues. I will try to reload the tablet related drivers this weekend when I get some spare time.
