Road Trip

Postby MavisPuford » Sat Mar 29, 2008 2:55 pm

This started out as an experiment and kind of branched off from there. I'm not really sure where I'm going with it. I want to turn it into a wallpaper but I'm sort of struggling with that right now. Anyway, here's what I've got so far:

**Actually, I finished it. :P Yeah, I know. That was quick. Click here to go to my thread in the finished work area to see the final result**

Any suggestions?

Nice work.

I you want to make it a wallpaper, I would just scale the image to 1/4 of a wallpaper size (or a little larger) and drop it in the right or left corner of an otherwise white background - I like a lot of space on my wallpapers :)

Having it on the left with the car travelling to the right will give the feeling of hope and the future. On the right with the car travelling left will give the feeling of reflection and the past. So I would put it on the left.

Thanks for the reply microUgly! Your input is greatly appreciated! I decided to go with your pointers, and throw it in the bottom left. I also added a slight tint of orange in the corners of the wallpaper that sort of gives it a warm feeling I guess. What do you think? I'm gonna go ahead and call it finished. If I feel like it, I might make some changes and update it.

Here it is:

I think it's really good. The orange in the corners help give the page that little bit of depth.
