Just downloaded Inkscape and have a question here. Is it possible to turn a saved svg from Inkscape into a useable 3D obj file using the program?? Tried the conversion with Blender and for whatever reason it doesn't show up! Even after applying the "trace bitmap"! The file that I am using is a photo of a yellow dress from the 1960s. And I need to make it into a obj so that I can use it for a 3D model. Like I said. It doesn't show up in Blender at all! Also. I'm not sure if I can load it into MeshLab like that either. And as much as I adore 3DP Rocks their lithophanes don't work well with any of the 3D programs that I have. Sorry about my tone. Particularly since I'm very new. But trying to figure out if Inkscape will work for that and it's cutting to the wire because this is going to be used for a film using 3D animation.
Get back to me on this please,
Thanks!!

PS: Sorry about the font color. Sight impairment. Thanks.
