Hi,
I installed Inkscape 0.47 and it has really great improvements in comparison to 0.46 (great work). But one simple feature is missing in my eyes. In some drawings it makes sense to change a coordinate by specifying an offset with + or -.
For example if I select one object and I want to move it 5mm I would like to enter in x-Position dialog -5mm. It is a simple operation but would be helpful if inkscape could support it in the future.
Thanks
Mario
Change coordinate with offset
Re: Change coordinate with offset
This is not using the select tool controls bar coordinate fields but can be used to achieve relative transformations of objects:
menu Object > Transform… > Move
Inkscape » Positioning and Transforming » Transformations » Transforms with the Transform Dialog

menu Object > Transform… > Move
Inkscape » Positioning and Transforming » Transformations » Transforms with the Transform Dialog

Thank you for the hint.
