Apply current color to an object?

Postby mortoray » Fri May 09, 2014 5:29 pm

How can I apply the current color to an object?

I am using the color picker to select a color from a bitmap and then wish to apply that color to an existing object. Any attempt to select the other object results in its current color becoming active (in the color bar). I cannot copy/paste the style since I don't have any object of that color. I've picked it form a bitmap.

It works the other way:
select the object you want to change the fill of, then use the dropper tool after (D).

1.
Select the object whose colour you want to change.

2.
Select the colour picker tool. It is the eye dropper on the tools bar. Use it to click on the required colour in the bitmap. The object you selected in 1 will change colour.
