Hi!
I am a newbie using Inkscape 0.91 under Windows 7 Pro (64-bit).
To simulate a three-side box, I drew a square on the right-top and two parallelograms: one on the left and another on the bottom. (See Sample.SGV).
When I print it, the left parallelogram is ok. But, the lower-right corner of the bottom parallelogram (which s/b white) is blackened.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you!

Re: Help w/ Parallelogram
There is a known printing bug in Inkscape 0.91 64 bit on Windows, which is related to transparencies being used in the drawing. Your box sides have an alpha value < 100%, so they are partially transparent.
You can fix this by:
- exporting to PNG or PDF, then printing that image from another program
- putting a white rectangle at the bottom of your drawing, which is at least as big as your drawing
- eliminating all transparencies in your drawing (no blur, no opacity < 100%, no alpha < 100%)
- using Inkscape 0.91 32bit version

Re: Help w/ Parallelogram
Dear Moini,
Thank you for your reply. Right on!
The drawing will be inserted as a picture in an Apache Open Office Writer doc. Then, the doc will be converted to a PDF file. Finally, the PDF file will be printed with a RIP printer.
I tested it with a laser printer and is ok. Will it be ok when it is printed with a RIP printer?

I've got no idea what a RIP printer is... (I hope it's not dead...) But the bug only concerns printing from inside Inkscape, so as long as the pdf looks alright, it'll be fine.
