I newbie in Inskape and i try to find a example with how combine ascii letters with lines for gcode interpreter.

I make this image in paint , is wery easy to create this in paint and interpret with Inskape for create gcode for foam cutter.
But result is not too good.

But I want create an interpret only in Inskape , if it's a easy way... like paint!
I added to text two lines , but result is:

Not is as expected!
I want only a entry and only a out, not intermediate Z coordonates!
Thanks in advanced!

I would probably create a compound path with no strokes.
