Has anyone tried Vector Artist for Windows 8? It is supposed to be Inkscape compatible.



I've tested it with a lot of SVGs from the Open Clip art project and it work with most of them. Also it works with SVGs saved in inkscape and can view SVGS made with it in Inkscape. Are there any that it doesn't work with?

I haven't heard of this, and not likely to pay for it. But it's interesting to learn about it.

If that's the meaning, then I'm guessing any SVG file with an Inkscape filter in it will not be able to be displayed. But op already knows that VA can't open all SVGs, according to his report that not all SVGs from open clipart work.

This reminds me. I wonder whatever happened to Kidscape? Looks like last attention the idea received was 2008 to 2010

Yes, it doesn't do Inkscape filters. Probably a good thing in a way as filters can slow things down a lot. Although I heard it's improved in the new Inkscape.
