Halo - Master Chief, Weapons and Background Resources

Postby BiggyRich » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:09 am

The following is a collection of work created using both Inkscape and Anime Studio:

This project took a while but it's Finally done! :D :D

This was an epic learning curve for me. The final master collection of the last couple of weeks is ready for download and review. The reel below is of a few simple/quick scenes using the characters and other bits (weapons etc SVG's using inkscape):

This was a really fun project (and resurrection of an old character) to work on and I learned a lot. There are many bits that I would change and improve if I only had the time. But I'm fairly happy with leaving it as is.

Feedback is very much appreciated. If you take a look at the models and/or vectors let me know if there's anything I can do to improve my techniques.Or on the flip side if you want to know how I achieved something just let me know and I'll be happy to share!

Link for the collection Download is on my Blog & Website:

Many thanks

Well its good but it lacks of animation... You also need to put some bullet or laser not just by flashing, And also it has a little bit of delay.

Thanks, it does need much more work to round it out. I really want to improve some of the smart bones and add more guns to the arsenal. Currently no lasers, no bullets, no rockets which sounds like an amnesty rally.

I also wanted to make some covenant to have actual enemies he could you know fight against. It stated to overrun a bit and I really wanted to get something posted up.

Thanks for you comments, hopefully will be inspired to return and improve when I have some time.

I'm not much informed or familiar with war, weapons, warriors, etc. type of artwork or games. But 1 thing sticks out for me. Those bright white spots on the upper right arm, knees, shoulder and chest -- I'm not sure what they represent or depict, but they stick out, like they're out of place. The one on the helmet looks like a light, so it seems to have a purpose. But the others don't make much sense. Or maybe it's some warrior tradition that I don't know about?
