Hi,
I'm doing my first drawing in Inkscape and loving the app.
I've been trying some glassy textures on objects which involves a lot of gradients.
What I find is that I work on my object until it looks like a nice glassy thing then when I try to move it to where I want it in my picture the gradient details seem attached to the place where I worked the object and don't move with it and will affect anything in its vicinity, extending over anything I move close by. If I duplicate a path and move it to a new point close by within the gradient, the gradient causes it to disappear.
How can I attach my gradients only to the paths I want them to influence?
I hope I made sense there.
Best,
Cluesome.
gradient doesn't move with object
Re: gradient doesn't move with object
There is a button that controls this on the Selector toolbar, on the right hand-side you'll see 4 buttons, hover over them to read the tooltip, you'll find find the correct one
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt
