Create two pages for duplex print?

Postby dpawson » Sun Dec 06, 2015 6:48 pm

I'm creating 'lined' paper for hand writing. I want to use my printers duplex facility
to print both sides?

Is it possible in Inkscape to create two pages (identical in this case).

I'm currently importing SVG into a word processor, which is not ideal.

Svg doesn't have support for multiple pages itself.
Print a 2 page pdf outside inkscape.

You can save as pdf each page, then stitch the pdf-s together with pdfsam for example.

Thanks Lazur. I'll see if it's any better in PDF (margins etc) than a WP.

There is an extension for multiple page support, but to my understanding, it exports to PDF. http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape-pages/

Thanks - I don't care on the format, the result is what I'm after Brynn.

Problem. I'm on Fedora. Tool is asking for pdftk? Not available in Fedora repo's.
Perhaps add to doco that this is needed.

Creation of two pages worked fine.
