I didn't understand what you are asking. I can only guess that you made duplicates of an original, but now you want them to be clones instead of duplicates right?

I don't think there is a way to do that, but you can easily create lots of clones using the Create tiled clones option.

I have practically all the seeds Duplicate but loads slow!
I was advised to clone as possible to load faster! now I have done this:

where the bottom half French and I have cloned remade the image of Italian seeds is a bitmap, but if I am asked to clone the semi Italians I would not mind a plug or some way to be cloned.
Blender is the 3D program known OS that is very easy, just change the masch attached to the pivot and also changing masch does not change the position of the object (it would be handy indeed)
