[solved]Convert Fill to Outline.

Postby ShawnWDion » Fri Apr 22, 2016 9:22 am

Hello Everyone,

Is there a easy way to take the fill value and make it the Outline color and making the fill value either white or black for a whole image?

I want to be able to print some images on transparencies in mirror image so that I can make re-usable paint by number type sheets.

Thanks in advance.

Right-click on the color indicator field for fill or stroke at the bottom left. There's a 'Swap fill and stroke' option, and a 'black' and 'white' option, too.

Edit: Sorry, the 'swap' option will only compute the average color if you have multiple objects selected :/, and then use that for the swapping... It won't work with objects that have different colors (or rather, after the action, they will all have the same, average color...)
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

@Moini

Thanks that's exactly what I needed a shame there is no shortcut or verb to call it however for the selecting only one color each time I used "Eggbot's Post Process Trace Bitmap" to split the colors and then I was able to use a macro tool to do it perfectly. Worked like a charm, the results are better than expected. =D
