Interpolate a Group

Postby renelicious » Wed Jul 30, 2008 5:14 am

I am new to Inkscape but am very excited about it. I would like to thank those that have devoted their time to making such a great product.

On to my question. I have created an image that is made up of a number of paths, some filled with colors and I have grouped them. I would now like to interpolate that group of objects (to later make an animation out of). If I pick Union to turn them into a single path, all of my coloring, gradients, detail, etc. is lost.

Is there a way to interpolate a group of paths? If not is there another way to achieve this?

Thanks for any help.

You can't interpolate a group of objects, what exactly are you trying to achieve? Maybe you should make multiple copies of your end object and then use Interpolation for each object in the group separately.

How many objects do you have in the group? What is the other object, is it also a group?
