I'm working on a homemade version of an out-of-print board game called Holiday. I used a world map from the Open Clip Art Library as the basis for the board. I'm new to Inkscape and to vector graphics in general. With that in mind, I'd love to hear any feedback about the board.
Since the city names are going to look especially small here, here's a link to the SVG file. The board is intended to be printed pretty big, so I'm hoping they'll be big enough to read then.
One question: Now that I've made each of the lines connecting the cities into arcs, I'm having trouble resizing the board as a whole. If I select everything and resize it, all the lines become straight lines again. If I group everything and then resize it, it works, until I ungroup them. That will work in a pinch, but I'd like to be able to resize the whole thing to fit a standard page size and still be able to make changes without all the lines reverting. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: questions about a board game I'm working on
Its because you've used connectors, so when you move the objects by scaling them its recaclulating the connection paths. either group them, and leave them in the group (you can right click, do enter group and still edit like normal) or convert them to paths (you loose some of the editablitly connector wise then tho.)
I believe theres plans to have connectors understand that theyve been made curves, but its not there yet.
Cheers
