Entering a specific distance for path node movement.

Postby TSPCO » Mon Dec 24, 2012 1:06 pm

I am trying to make some simple virtual award ribbons for a group I am in. I have done a simple notched ribbon, by creating a node between two existing nodes, then drug that node to make the notch, is there a way to enter a certain number of units to achieve exact distances? Or is it more like drag until you get close?

With the :tool_node: select a single node; the control bar should show its x and y coordinates. With more than one node selected the control bar shows the average x and y positions. You can also use the align dialog to line up and distribute any number of nodes from 2 up, evenly.
Your mind is what you think it is.
