How do I save a word as a graphic object and not a font?

Postby danblast » Thu Nov 20, 2014 6:03 pm

Hello, I am working on some white board animation but their software does not have the font I like. So I thought I could simply type the text in Inkscape and export it as a SVG. But it seems it converts it back to their default text. SO I need to somehow convert the word I type in Inscape into an object.

How could I do this?

Thanks

Have you tried Path|Object to Path (Shift+Ctrl+C) ?
Win7/64, Inkscape 0.92.2
