I have been using Inkscape (.91 & .48) for a couple weeks on my Mac (el Capitan) system. Mostly stuff has worked ok.
However, a day or two ago I got Inkscape into a mode when when I try to draw a circle, rectangle or line all I get is a dashed rectangle with two square nodes and one round one. No fill or stroke! I have both Fill & Stroke selected and different colors, so I think that I should see something. I have tried making a new document, tried going back to Inkscape .48 and a bunch of other ideas with no success. I must have done something stupid, but I can't see what it is.
