Development versions for Windows on official download page
They aren't being updated anymore, so they should be removed. Since you have control over the website now, you can change it

"you"? "now"? Which website are you referring to? inkscape.org? To whom is your comment addressed? Admin? I don't think microUgly is involved in maintaining inkscape.org website. This is a user support forum, which sadly, few developers visit regularly. InkscapeForum.com is entirely separate from inkscape.org.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. Since I don't use a dev version, I'm not sure where to download the current build. I think they might be on another website -- but you should be able to find what you want from The Official Download Page: http://inkscape.org/en/download/. Although again, I couldn't tell you exactly which link to use.
Or another good place to look for downloads, is http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape/

"You" is brynn
For the moment, the most recent builds are on the official sourceforge, http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscap ... /inkscape/. That is the replacement link I am suggesting.
In the current download page, the development builds are very old. Many of them won't even start, so it is a bad idea to link to them. Those problems have been fixed in more recent builds.

Yes, I do have edit permission for inkscape.org. I volunteered to keep the community info up to date (community info = forums, tutorials, galleries). I don't have much knowledge about development builds, or even downloads in general -- others here are much more informed that I am.
But I can look into it. Just to be clear, do you mean the links to OSS Marketplace and Google Drive Public Folder?
Edit
Ok wait. You saw what's in blue rectangle in attached? Oh crap, no uploads in this board... Ok here:
Isn't that the link you want?

Re: Development versions for Windows on official download pa
I was mistaken. I thought http://staging.inkscape.org/en/download/ was part of your editing area, but it's clear that there's no "brynntest" in the URL. My bad.
Yes, the sourceforge link is the correct one.

Staging?? You know, I try to hide my tracks on the internet, but I must not be doing a very good job I guess having the same username everywhere doesn't help....but kind of necessary in an open source community.
staging.inkscape.org is the test site for inkscape.org, which is the official Inkscape website. (Relatively recently, it underwent a major facelift, and still is somewhat under development. I think that's when the staging site was born, but don't quote me on that.) Staging is not necessarily current....or complete. Anyway, I can edit in both, wiki too. On the staging site, I'm making some example pages, to show my ideas of how I think the site could be better organized. Currently, not having the forum listings on , seems odd to me, so that's where it started. Then one thing led to another. Now, I find myself working on the FAQ...which led to some editing in the wiki as well....and I'm also planning to beef up the Tutorials page
So anyway, that's where those pages on the staging site came from. They're not "official", although maybe they will be, someday.
