This concerns in particular to the Wacom Bamboo tablet. I have not used one of these before but I am wondering if this tablet will work with Inkscape and even GIMP for that matter. I'm on a Windows 7 machine. I know it will work on Window 7 but usually Photoshop is mentioned and nothing else.

Is there anyone out there who is using this particular product?

I use a wacom bamboo pen and it works well in Inkscape as well as in the GIMP. I am on windows XP though...

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like it will work. I read a review from someone who purchased a refurbished one via Amazon and he said it worked with GIMP also. How do you like the Wacom Bamboo pen?
