Interface for high DPI displays

Postby vinfo » Wed Mar 19, 2014 12:17 am

Hi,

I have a 14" 1920x1080 display. I am using Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 for Windows 8.1. Currently, the font size and icon size in the interface is large and blurry (problem I see for some other apps as well). I can adjust the icon sizes in the "Inkscape Preferences" > "Interface" dialog, but the size of icons is still somewhat large for my liking and the font size of text in menus and toolbars is the same. Is there a method to adjust either of these further? Maybe via some configuration file?

Thanks,

Vince

Hi.

The interface is using gtk.
Check related links to a similar problem here:

Hi Lazur,

Thanks for quick reply and relevant link. In the end, found solution in Windows 8: Right-click on the program's icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> "Disable display scaling on high dpi settings".
