I just wanted to give props to inkscape and the inkscape community and all the programmers who are always improving the program! the more I use this program the more I love it! im a graphic designer and design many things from something as small as business cards to things as big as vehicle wraps and 40' pylon signs. illustrator doesn't allow for a big enough workspace for full size vehicles or large signs and graphics and such. BUT INKSCAPE DOES ! I also have used a sign program called flexi-sign. it allows you to work in full scale but sometimes when I go to export a file in pdf form at full size it will not allow me to because the file will be too big... grrrrr at that and god forbid there is a bitmap image in it! BUT INKSCAPE DOES!!! my artwork design could be as large as a house but when I save as a pdf with bitmaps and designs superimposed on them BOOM the files will still be small enough to email and in most cases it will be under a meg still but when opened by lets say the printer it will be full size!! SO NO MOR SCALEING AND BLA BLA BLA!!! WOOT WOOT!! AND THE INKSCAPE COMMUNITY HERE HAS BEEN AMAZINGLY HELPFULL AND QUICK TO RESPOND AND HAVE SAVED MY BUT NUMEROUS TIMES WHEN TRYING TO GET A FILE TO A CLIENT THAT I WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH... THANKS SO MUCH!!! I do hope that there will be better transform tools in the future and a tool that you can click your design and it will automaticly show the dimentions on the design like flexi-sign. but those are those are the only things I would change at this point.
THANK YOU INKSCAPE PROGRAMMERS, USERS AND INKSCAPE COMMUNITY FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK, HELPFULLNESS AND KNOWLEDGE!!!
BIG SHOUT OUT TO INKSCAPE!!!
