Wow, awesome magpies!! "Hand" drawn? Absolutely awesome :D
I'd love to see a little more detail in the white feathers (I fully realize how hard that would be -- just an idea). Also maybe a little more detail in the woman's hair? Not sure if I "get" the bones....but such a powerful image, and so well done. Can't wait to see more. Any plans for background other than white? Eg-tree(s), old house, landscape? Or maybe just a couple of leaves somewhere?

My only (hopefully positive) criticism is that the left hand seems to be detached...maybe a little too far away from the body....or so? Is it supposed to look like it's reaching outside the...'window'? I just can't quite make the angle of the body fit the angle of the hand/arm. Unless that's what you intended?

Anyway, looks great so far :D

It is in a early stage. The hands, birds, women are not in there final place, scale, angle. The different “block” get the editing when I believe in the result. And maybe the women will be taken away, I don't know. This is a improvisation, and anything can happen. If I keep the women, I will do more work with the hair, but not now. The women comes from my failure folder, but she is responsible for the idea for earlier image, but was taken away from that picture. But she was the trigger, and maybe this is her rôle, a trigger that newer get a part in the play:)

I have a plan to render/export the image as a large A3-A2 300 DPI and take that in to Mypaint and do a separate graphite layer, and take that in to Inkscape over all layers (filter Multiplay).

LOVE the hair, love it!
Still wip? Birds supposed to be missing legs, or just not there for now?
I'm curious about the object along the bottom, just left of center. In earlier versions, I thought it was the breastbone of a bird, but in these later versions, somehow reminding me of some kind of weird big bug. Also, the hand that I thought was at a weird angle, now looks perfect to me. Not sure if you moved it, or if the additional depth created by the newer details, has made it kind of become "settled into place"? Anyway more captivating than ever!
