Fusing hand drawn lines

Postby Mojo McCracken » Tue Feb 19, 2008 7:03 am

Okay. So I've begun drawing a bunch of things using the "Draw freehand lines"-tool. There's just one thing that's annoying me: The lines are still individual paths. Is it possible to fuse the lines so the following can be avoided:

Short answer - no. It's the nature of the format. A path can only have 2 ends or 0 ends (i.e a circle).

The long answer is, kinda, if you're prepared to convert your stokes to an object and join the objects, but then you can't manipulate it like you can with a stroke on a path.

In "document properties" window you can check "snap to objects" checkbox - play around it, it's quite usefull option.
