Re: Help to find font type
Hi.
That's probably not part of a font, but some misdrawn blackletter -gothic texutre- lettering.
Anyway, check this topic, and/or maybe ask typophile's experts.
Good luck!

Re: Help to find font type
Yeah, I agree, that looks like it was hand drawn by someone. My college roommate used to fill out certificates and such, for some extra income, using hand calligraphy. And that looks a lot like something she might write.
But you could probably find a font with a letter like that, or maybe that you even like better. Myfonts.com have a lot of free fonts, and 1001 free fonts is all free fonts, and there are a few more good fonts sites where you can look, but I don't have their names at the tip of my tongue. Maybe some are mentioned in the topic Lazur referenced?

A quick try with What The Font didn't come up with an answer based on this letter.

Hi.
The font is similar to this "Old English";
Hand-tracing the image in the example is a quick job in inkscape:
Result;
Due to the very small image and the "quick job" the result might be inaccurate and not be suitable to your application.

A bit on letter structure of this writing:

Re: Help to find font type
It's so interesting to break things down into their lowest or most basic state sometimes. Lazur's image reminds me of tangrams. So you could actually recreate that letter m, according to that image, using Inkscape's Rectangle tool and skewing! (also rotating and maybe snapping) Although that may be a less than ideal approach, depending what you want to do with it, in the end.

Re: Help to find font type
Hi Ragnar!
How can I make this using Inkscape?
Are there a tutorial for I learn?
Thanks in advanced!
Re: Help to find font type
Hi.
Open Inkscape -
Import Image - Select your Icon Image
Select image on screen (F1 - then click on image)
Zoom to image (3) - (On the main keyboard)
Use the line tool to trace the outline. (Shift + F6)
I recommend going through the tutorials (quick start) in the online manual: Inkscape: Guide to a Vector Drawing Program
Good Luck.
