gradient tool problem

gradient tool problem

hi. I'm new on inkscape and I have a problem with the gradient tool because all the time that i set a gradient on an object and then move it around it's gradient changes, so i would like to know how to make the gradient invariable but still be able to move the object or use other tools on it.

Welcome aboard!

Toggle the icon in the select tool's setings on top with the tooltip "move gradients (in fill or stroke) along with the objects".
Check the manual for the note and further details.
