Just related to my earlier question about the autopackage...
I do see one for 0.46 and devel, would this be recommened for me to use? or should I just wait till the final 0.46 autopackage comes out?

I currently have the previous 0.45 pre-release running on PCLOS 2007

Depending on how old the package is, you might prefer to wait.

I'm not sure why Inkscape.org has announced the release of 0.46 and provided links for OS's and distributions that don't yet exist. That's likely to cause more confusion than anything.

I think you're right... I'm just gonna wait. This build is dated March 28th 2008.
I think the rapid growth in size as far as devs and other contributors there has caused some very slight confusion... I'm sure it will all iron out well though.
But, as to not add a black hole to that confusion... I will sit here twiddling my thumbs and mind my own business till it's ready

March 28!? Oh, I wouldn't hesitate to run that version - it possibly won't be any different to what will come out. The site I seen packages on was Nov 2007 which I felt was a little old to install.
