Re: Bezier Issue
I don't think there were any changes with Ellipse "mode" in 0.91. Can you explain what's wrong in those screenshots, and/or how you would like them to be? I could make some guesses, but we could be here for days, that way. Much faster if you could explain more.

Thanks for the reply brynn. As you can see in first image the tip of bezier must follow the whole thing not the other way, it's like twisted somehow. And in the second image start node cross the end. And sorry for use word "mode" instead of "shape"!
Re: Bezier Issue
Well, for the 2nd one, and maybe for the first one too. But for sure, the 2nd one, if you use the Ellipse shape, we would not expect to see those sharp corners at the end. I wonder if it's possible the path effect was removed somehow, after you upgraded?
The first one does not have very much of a point, but it's still a little point there, that I wouldn't expect to see.
Any chance we could look at the SVG file?

Hello
If you don't know, please be aware that you can see more adjustments in the Live Path Effect dialog. The ellipse shape that follows a path is a Live Path effect
About LPE, please consult the Inkscape Guide
1.- For the first image, just edit the path with the node tool
2.- For the second image, please see here:
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... -Fill-Rule
But I think you will also to edit that path with the node tool
and Yes, It's always good to have a sample SVG file with the issue (or a copy of the original, if possible)

Excuse me but you think I don't know that? this is screenshot of first image which I just opened with both Inkscape 0.48 and 0.91.
Inkscape 0.91

Re: Bezier Issue
Do you have the same problem when you copy an ellipse to the clipboard and use that as your shape ?

What's the difference does it make? and for your information it doesn't make any change. I'm sure this is a friggin bug.

Can you tell why? because with this logic every data transfer through RAM from hard drive to processor will change somehow, or maybe you have a magical machine which built by Russians!?

You have more attitude than a vogue-dancer on his first ball.
I will tell you why. First you will apologize for your awful behaviour and cease the bitching.

Not sure about developers nationality, but inkscape has been rebuilt from different rendering packages.
New one uses cairo, to fix up most of the previous bugs.
Also, now the circle object is implemented too.
Personally I couldn't reproduce the problem with 0.91 win 64 bit build.
Note that win 32 and 64 bit versions use different cairo packages too, the 32 bit's is outdated.
Re: Bezier Issue
You may be more comfortable communicating directly with developers, by filing a bug report, especially since you think it could be a bug.
https://launchpad.net/inkscape
I can't speak for the others, but I'll still be glad to look at your SVG file. I can't say or do anything more, without being able to look at the SVG file.
Unless developers recognize it immediately (not likely) they will probably need the SVG file, as well.

Thanks for the reply, although I don't understand why you quote my post? I'm using Fedora Linux 23 x86_64 and I think maybe cairo is the problem, anyway I gonna report this on launchpad today.

Actually I use two hard drive as software RAID-0 for /home and a few month ago all my data was lost because openSUSE choose to format the first one, you know just for fun. I'm doing this before and I telling you there's nothing wrong with SVG, in fact I'll PM this to you so tell me what you think.
Thanks for reply.

My apologies if offended. But I'm not a wizard to know how much a user requesting help knows about Inkscape.
It seems that you don't want to share samples because you have original artwork of your own. I understand that.
But it could help if:
You just create a bezier line with an ellipse shape on Inkscape 0.48. Save it. Then open it on 0.91 and save it with that new version, and other name. Now if we were are able to compare both files in a text editor. If there are differences in the "d" attribute of the path , or differences in how the LivePath Effect is used, so I ... think ... We can have more clues about what is happening. Is inkscape rendering different a bezier curve with a shape along path, or is modifying the bezier curve, or the Live Path Effect?...
Or maybe nothing of the above ?
Other thing... when you open your svg file in a web browser do they render ... as you expect?

Re: Bezier Issue
I report a bug in launchpad and turns out it's because of "2geom" and they'll fixed it in 0.92.
