Since I updated Inkscape version from 0.92.2 to 0.92.4 it has been increadibly slow and it is impossible to use the software. I uninstalled the newest version and went back to the old one which worked fine before but now it's also very slow.

I am working with a map and I use linked images for tracing. Now I can't move, resize, rotate or do anything with these images without the program freezing.

It's very odd that this problem persist even though I reinstalled the old version which worked like clockwork before. Anyone have a clue what the issue is and how I can solve it?

Can you share the file?

Do your linked images have any filters or transformations applied to them? E.g. sharpen or contrast or rotation? Have you tried deleting preferences?
