I am trying to use the in built pattern of polka dots
I created 2 rectangles one as background color and other has the pattern.
I placed them one above other and below are few things what I tried but to no avail.
1) grouped and export as png -> the background exports
2) combine both -> the whole thing dissappaears
3) union -> again whole thing dissappears.
Please help me as to what am I doing wrong.
I am using Inkscape 0.92.

Can you share the SVG file, please? If you could add info about your operating system and your exact Inkscape version, too, that would be great.

I am using windows 10 , I was trying to batch export all the files as png but saw that few files were not exporting correctly and were black.

Png's exported properly for me but I was not using batch. Some objects are grouped multiple times for no reason? Layers of transparent rectangles for what reason? Invisible filtered objects are there for what reason? If the file is failing because of something in your design it would definitely help to know why you have constructed it like this. Also, what resolution are you trying to export at?
When you say some objects don't export properly can you just show us those objects so we don't have to guess? Or do you mean the polka dot rectangle did not export properly?

From just reading the file, I can see the following things:
- @druban: the export dpi is 300
- @fariha_kazi: grab the pattern origin handle (x-shaped) and move it into the object.
