Looks like my color printer might be going. Any recommendations for a new one?
Plusses would be:
Can print 11x17 down to 4x6 or envelopes.
Replacement cartidges aren't ridiculously expensive.
Decent quality print for photos.
Needs to work with both Windows XP and Windows 7.

I ended up buying a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II. The first impresions: big, heavy, wonderful.
It is supposed to be able to do borderless printing, but I haven't gotten that working yet. It can also print up to 13" x 19" (36 cm x 43 cm).
It has 8 inks, and the colors are very good. The speed is decent.
You need a lot of space for this guy. It's about 26" wide by 14" deep (66 cm by 36 cm), and you need considerably more space than that if printing in the flat throughput mode for large or thick paper.
