I feel that I have to send out a congrats to all the Inkscape developers.

I have been using inskape for around 6 months now and have developed a real liking for it. A tough learning curve (and I am still only a newbie user skill wise) but I am really getting familiar with it now. Its definatley not AI, and it does not have all the features of AI, but I am tending to find that I head to inskape more often now that I do AI. There is certain elements of inskape that I find and absolute delight to use.

I am a software developer/consultant (c++) myself, and I am very critical of application design. My honest opinion of open source design is not very good, but in this instance I have to give credit where credit is due. Inkscape is not without its bugs, but it probably one of the most usable open source projects that I have dealt with to date.

Keep up the good work people. I am very close to downloading the source and thinking about adding a few editions for HPGL and EPS. I dont have the time just yet, but I am really encouraged to help out.
