Inkscape Novices' Dream

Postby brynn » Tue Jul 06, 2010 2:45 pm

Hi Friends,
I've been in the mood to pick up working with Inkscape, after a bit of a lull. In a discussion with a new member, a cartoon image popped into my head about learning Inkscape by plugging into head. So I thought I'd have a go at reproducing it, and here is my result. Note that I'm not an artist and can't draw cartoons, but this is my best effort. Actually it's my first attempt....well, first attempt that I've ever shared publicly, drawing a human form/head. I guess I feel ok about how it turned out (the head). Not realistic, but not intended to be. Comments welcome!

LOL!
Yeah, I wanted it to be....an inward thinking....kind of expression. Shell shock is a good description, but I couldn't figure out how to tone it down. As I said, my first human figure....it may seem less severe at full size (try clicking thumbnail).
