Build without Gnome?

Build without Gnome?

Is it possible to build Inkscape without Gnome?

The reason is that I have a low performance laptop that really dislike having to handle heavy libraries.

Inkscape does not require Gnome, only GTK.

Thanks. I see now that Inkscape doesn’t require the whole Gnome (only that it by packaging depends on libgnomevfs2-common in Ubuntu.) Please excuse my rash post. :roll:
