Windows 7 - Install Inkscape on single user

Postby Rodrigo Balest » Fri Jan 24, 2014 10:14 pm

Hi.

I'm trying to install Inkscape on a shared PC running Windows 7. My user is not admin.
When I try to install Inkscape just for my user, I receive the following message:

You do not have administrator privileges.
Installing Inkscape for all users might not complete successfully.
Uncheck the 'Install for all users' option.

The problem is that this option is not available for choosing during the installation proccess.

is there a way I can solve this instead of installing as admin?

Thanks!

Hi.

Have you tried to "install" a portable version?
Development builds work the same, they shouldn't need admin privileges.

Hi,
Why would you install Inkscape? Just sign in register and use it!
