I did this in 4 separate files then patched it together with the software equivalent of a shoe horn and vise grip, so every thing is a little off -- color wise and prospective wise. Especially the colors but it's not supposed to look appealing, so I guess it's OK. I was surprised that 3 high lights, a couple of 2 shadows and a disk could give the impression of a plate.

I think it's a nice, very UN-appealing piece of cake. Setting it against the black background and with the white lettering is very effective, I think it really makes the colors in the cake pop.

The Black box with white lettering is the standard format for demotivational posters. Google demotivational or demotivative, if you are over 18. At least half of them are R rated.
