Hello, I would very much like to hear from people who use inkscape on a touchscreen device (with stylus) - laptop, tablet, ... I use a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet now, but drawing directly on screen seems like a dream to me. Is it, or isn't it? Which hardware/model/brand works perfectly, if any? Can you rest your drawing hand on the screen while drawing? Is the stylus precise? How about pressure sensitivity? Isn't the screen to slick? Please share your experience...
Many thanks in advance!

Re: inkscape on touchscreen
Hi Bartovan,
In this topic there is one person who uses a touchscreen only. But what kind of pen he uses, I do not know.
I do not have such a device, so it would be nice to read a bit more about it here. Good luck!

Inkscape 0.91 and 0.92.4. Writing a course about this beautiful program.
Re: inkscape on touchscreen
Interesting, thanks for the link.
Apparently one needs a touchscreen device with a few modifier buttons (like a Wacom Cintiq) for really comfortable use.
The on-screen keyboard idea might be a workaround. I tried Florence just now (inspired by this article), it does work and even holds the modifier keys just by clicking once on them (very handy in Inkscape, you can for instance click on Ctrl, then simply drag an object which will have the effect of Ctrl-drag). But if I would invest (which I won't cause I can't ), I'd go for something CIntiq-like. A Surface Pro for instance still seems a bit clumsy for drawing without modifier buttons next to the screen.
