Difference in visualisation, Adobe viewer vs inkscape

Postby jobbezz » Tue Mar 17, 2009 2:02 am

Hi,

I have a problem with my SVG. In Adobe Viewer is looks different compared to Adobe viewer.

A screenshot of the visualisation:

The SVG:

The two rectangles have a different unit for he height (mm vs pixels). I think both programs use an other dpi? Can I add a attribute so both programs will show the same?

Thank you,

That's a known problem. Inkscape uses 90 dpi to convert from px to abs units. This is a murky area, the standard is not entirely clear on this. It is recommended to not mix px and abs units in the same document.
