Opacity to pdf

Opacity to pdf

Hello everyone.

I have this problem and im searching for a solution.
When i make a circle with opacity in my inkscape file and transform it to pdf.
I dont see the circle back.

Excuse me for my bed english.
Hope that someone haves the solution for me.

Hello there,

by default pdf-s have a white background, not that it's much related to the problem you described.

You can add transparency to the fill as an alpha channel,
to the object as a % value,
and -theoretically- by masking.

Masking usually doesn't work right, better avoid that.

The other two "should" work.
Sometimes it is related to grouping too.
Grouping a transparent object can make it render opaque, then adding an alpha value to the fill can be a solution.


Other than that, is the black circle filtered?
If it is, you should enable rasterizing filter effect in the save as dialog.


Can you provide a sample file?

When im group the items it works.
