Hey guys,

You may have noticed that we have some new look smilies which I created (I'm still missing a few). If you haven't noticed, here's what they look like:


I'm not sure if they really cut it. I was trying to capture the emotions using just eyes, no mouth. But a simple smiley, , does not look so obvious when it's only eyes. What do you guys think? Maybe you could offer your own version?

For reference, these icons were inspired by the Zero Punctuation video game reviews where a character used in the videos only has eyes yet portrays a lot of emotion

I found the yellow smilies to be far more effective and their expressions were a lot clearer. The eyes and the mouth are the most expressive part of the face, their faces could do with both. It would be really cool if the smiley faces were in full colour with more detail. Maybe their faces could be a little bigger if they're going to be reworked.

I've switched them back. I liked the style but like you suggest, they are too ambiguous.
