Not sure if it's something I did wrong or a munged setting somewhere, but Inkscape doesn't seem to be able to read my external CSS

While I was working on the file, I had the CSS stored in my workspace/css folder
the image I was working on was stored in workspace/imgs (mirroring the site folder setup)
as a test, I copied the CSS file into the imgs folder and modified the calling path, but my objects still show black

I think it's a normal behaviour. It seems to me that external CSS it's not implemented yet by Inkscape.
You can make a request to be supported (if it's not already requested)

I'm even surprised that You can use an extern CSS in a different place than the image! on a web browser!!, because I've found that each web browser support CSS properties in different ways.
