ai to inkscape 0.46

hello , i love inkscape forever.. but i have my file AI but my inkscape 0.46, it can't open it.. :( why? :o

then

i did created file .ai like a test for inkscape support ok?

This is an old PS-based AI format. We only import AI9 and newer which are PDF-based.
