Hi.
In this thread I needed to upload more than one file. The second svg file I uploaded worked normally. But when I tried to upload another png file (12 kb), it didn't allowed me do ulpoad.
So I decided to delete the first svg file and then try to uploat the png. Also this time, I got the same message and wasn't allowed to upload. So now there is just one single file in the whole thread that is uploaded, and I cant upload any more.
I will in the thread above point to this thread where I upload all neccesary files as one 7z file. This way I pack it as tiny as I can.
Oh no. I get the very same error again.red letter warning "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
This is stupid. I really cannot give a decent description of the problem just using words
board attachment quota has been reached
Re: board attachment quota has been reached
Unfortunately file uploads are a pain to manage; have a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7 (which is one of the stranded notices on your profile page. There are others nowadays as well...
Re: board attachment quota has been reached
I have reported to microUgly.
Another member reported this as well.
EDIT
Meanwhile, SVG files are accepted and hosted by imgh.us: http://www.imgh.us/index.php
(This is not file sharing, but a true host. However, the file can still be downloaded. Use Save Target As from context (right-click) menu, in Windows. I'm not sure about other systems.)

Re: board attachment quota has been reached
If the per user quota is exhausted, how come that apparently different users are affected by the limit at the same time? (Yes, me too [1]). Coincidence? Or is this the quota of the forum itself, for all users? (i.e. even if I take the time to prune images from older topics with fewest hits, the quota will be reached again as soon others attach a few images in the meantime?)microUgly wrote:There is a 50 MB quota. You can delete images to free up some of your quota.
[1] Admittedly I haven't tried again since then.
Re: board attachment quota has been reached
My apologies. The attachment setting was not configured as I originally thought. There should be room now, and when I get a chance I'll ensure there is an appropriate per user setting.
