Hi,
i need to modify some vector images in a docx file (Word 2013). The original files are not available, therefore i have to use the files from the docx.
To get to the vector image, i rename the docx into zip, unpack the archive, and go into the directory \word\media.
When I open the WMF file, then some elements (in particular the text) becomes blocky, see attached image. Before, in word and PDF it was smooth and you could zoom in without seeing any blocky edges. Inserting it back into word does not help either.
Is there a way to modify the image from word while maintaining the original quality?
Regards,
Frank.

Re: Blocky WMF when imported from Word
I probably can't be much help. But can't you just open the file in Word and export the WMF?
Oorrr....open the PDF with Inkscape?
