Hi,
While helping a friend start the install process on a Mac today, I checked out the wiki to find nothing there about the Mac process. So I wrote my own section, including the X11 drama. Problem is, I don't have a Mac of my own, and I can't verify what I've written. I won't see my friend to finish the X11 part for several days, and even then I will only do one of the three alternatives for X11.
I also noticed there was nothing for Ubuntu, and I'm about to help a different friend install on her ubuntu, so I did something very quickly.
Can Mac and Ubuntu users check it out here and please make any corrections?
Can I encourage others to write entries there for different platforms, including the Autopackage method? If you've installed it before on a platform that isn't well explained, then please at least have a go. What a pity if people were turned off before even getting going!
Cheers,
Rygle

Sounds like useful info, afradi I dont have any of those systems to be able to help tho.
Can you post this to the users and dev mail lists as well? theres a bigger audience there from the techy side that may be able to help with this.
Cheers
