Hi there,
I'm relatively new to Inkscape, and having a bit of problem.
I want to use Inkscape to design figures for an academic paper. I'm trying to import graphs generated in R into Inkscape. In this case, it's a simple bar chart. But whether I save the graph as an .emf or .wmf or paste it from the clipboard, I lose the colour fills in the bars on the graph.
Here's an example graph:
Once in Inkscape it looks identical but without the colours.
If I import a line graph with coloured lines, it imports fine.
Any ideas where I am going wrong?
Thanks,
Pete
problem with colours importing .emf file from R into Inkscap
Re: problem with colours importing .emf file from R into Ink
Hi.
You might upload your file - there is just no way to know what you're doing wrong without share your work.
Probably there is not much that you can do. Inkscape may save as .emf but doesn't looks like it's fully supported.
If the reason for that is lack of documentation for .emf file format, I don't know.
