Hi there, I'm a super new user and I have a quick question that I hope you guys can help me with. You'll have to excuse my terminology here, I'm new at the lingo.
I want to know if there is an easy way to seperate images in Inkscape.
I have several files that have a large number of images on them (let's say 50 on many on them) and I want to know if there is any easy way that I can somehow split these up into individual files, each containing one of the images? I use Inkscape to import files to cut in another program, and if I do "Import SVG" I , of course, get all 50 images and that's no good.
Any ideas anyone? Is there perhaps an equivalent to a macro that I can write so that I can have Inkscape do it automatically? Or do I have to just make 50 individual files and copy and past each image?
I'm open to suggestions!
Thanks in advance
Multiple Images on one file - how to seperate
Re: Multiple Images on one file - how to seperate
I don't know of a built in way to do this(?). Depending on your scripting/technology abilities, you might be able to have a script save each layer from an svg file into a separate file.

Thanks LiquidAsh! I'll try the scripting thing.....at best it'll work at worst I'll learn something new, so win-win.
