Losing Pattern Saving as .eps file

Postby [email protected] » Wed Jul 20, 2016 9:49 am

Hello, I'm using .091 of Inkscape and I created a shirt for charity of a Big Brother houseguest. My problem here is I saved a camouflage pattern on text and in a shape I manipulated to look like a bandana. When I save this file - which looks amazing in .svg - turns to all black and terrible as .eps which the t-shirt manufacturer wants. They will also accept .ai but any converter programs seem to be bogus.

I'm probably unaware of some basic thing because I'm a novice, but creative. How am I going to save this file so I keep all the original data so they can make this a t-shirt and not lose anything in the process?

Thank you for any advice you can give me. If you want to look at what I created and who the BB house guest is, look up asianjamesbb17 and scroll down some tweets and you'll see 2 of my shirt ideas. (the Girl Talk one easily converted to .eps fine)

EPS doesn't support partial transparency, which may be one cause for things turning all black. Make sure there is no partial transparency, only full transparency or full opacity in your drawing.

If this doesn't help, could you just upload the image (or a similar example), so we can try to give more specific help?
