Gets Very Resource Heavy And Buggy
Re: Gets Very Resource Heavy And Buggy
This has been much discussed in multiple topics already. A search of the forum should turn up a plethora of info
But the short version is
1 - use layers, and hide layers that you don't need at the moment
2 - File menu > Vacuum Defs from time to time
3 - if by "effects" you mean filters, you could use View menu > Display Mode > No Filters or Outline mode.
A new renderer is planned for version 0.49, which should help speed things up. I don't think it will reduce the load that the filters incur, but overall rendering will be much faster. I'm not sure if you can test it out with the current development version or not.....I think it's not quite there yet.....I could be wrong.
All best
